With over 8,000,000,000 bacteria per litre of Pure Pond Balls, your pond will shine even more than normal, especially if you add them monthly into the Kaldnes Moving bed, or into any other type of filter you may have.

Pure Pond are biodegradable balls, crammed full of live bacteria that are slowly released when they are needed most. With over 8,000,000,000 bacteria per litre of Pure Pond Balls, your pond will shine even more than normal, especially if you add them monthly into the Kaldnes Moving bed, or into any other type of filter you may have.
How to use it?
When you introduce the Pure Pond balls into the biological chamber of your Nexus, they become one with moving bed, agitating alongside the K1 media, just waiting to smooth out any peaks and troughs of the Ammonia/Nitrite cycle, to give you even healthier, crystal clear water. Pure Pond works equally as well in Pressurised filters (Just place them in between the foams). Bead Filters - (Put into the filter along with the beads). Traditional multibay filters - (Just place the balls into your biological section).
Dosing
There is no particular dosing methods, as the non pathegenic bacterias cannot be overdosed, The 500ml tub can be used for ponds upto 10,000 litres,The 1000ml tub for 20,000litres. Pure Pond can be used on a monthly or bi monthly basis to help improve your water quality, eventually the balls just disappear by dissolving slowly and your water quality will improve!
We have been using this new technology on our own systems both pressurized bead filters and also our Nexus units utilizing the moving bed K1 and biochip media with favorable results.
